CIPROVOT's final event in Brussels: "How to best train volunteers?"

PSCE is happy to announce CIPROVOT’s final event “How to best train volunteers”, taking place in Brussels, on November 20th. The event will count with speakers from the Red Cross EU Office, DG ECHO and DG Education as well as CIPROVOT’s partners who have contributed to the development of the project.

CiProVoT- Civil Protection Volunteers Training project is co-funded by DG EAC, Erasmus +: Key Action 2, Strategic Partnership in the field of Adult education. The project started on 31 December 2017 and it will officially finish on 31 December 2019 and it aims at aims developing a trans-national – European – training course module for Civil Protection Volunteers.

During the event, the project will be presented, as well as the results of its research. This is an event addressed to professionals working with Civil Protection organisations, humanitarian and volunteering associations, policy makers and everyone who is interested in overall international cooperation.

In about two years, six partners have contributed to the development of this project, elaborating a “Comparative training methodology for dealing with knowledge, skills and core competencies of Civil Protection volunteers” and a final “Report on practices and skills identification of Civil Protection volunteers”.
