We are delighted to announce that we will be organizing a workshop on standardization to take place in the premises of the German Red Cross in Munich on 03 May 2017.
Based on our last cluster event held on 28 February in Brussels at which were presented different approaches to the realization of a Common Information Space, it appeared clearly that there is a lot to be learned from the exchange of good practices as well as from projects individual experiences. Some projects have ended or are close to the end, therefore it would be beneficial for everyone to reflect on the work that has been done in order to better prepare for the future.
The workshop will be focused on standardization and more specifically, on the capacity of EU projects to generate standards. It will be emphasized that research projects have to put more efforts on standardization activities in order to bring innovation adapted to the fast-changing market. Current available solutions will be addressed.
EU projects will discuss their personal experience with standardization bodies and explain the outcomes of their work while industrials, researchers, European bodies and national authorities will have the opportunity to exchange their point of views and discuss future perspectives.
